RDA Quarterly Update: June 2026

During the first half of 2026, the Stoughton Redevelopment Authority (RDA) continued advancing its mission of improving the economic vitality, taxable value, and overall livability of the city by addressing properties or areas that are blighted, underutilized, or no longer contributing positively to the community.

Now that the Riverfront Redevelopment is progressing, the RDA is beginning the process of selecting their next project, starting with an updated evaluation of property conditions in the city’s two Redevelopment Areas. The goal is to identify priority areas for reinvestment and redevelopment, focusing on public safety concerns and other factors of blight.

The RDA also continues its Revolving Loan Fund, providing low-interest loans to downtown businesses for building rehabilitation, other property improvements, equipment, and working capital. Learn more at https://www.stoughtonrda.org/revolving-loan-fund.

This spring the RDA welcomed new commissioner Connor McGuane, replacing Roger Springman who has served the RDA for many years (thank you Roger!)

Current RDA Projects:

  • A two-phase project with a total of 245 mixed-income apartments
