TID #5 - Rail Corridor
Lydia DeBauche, a Planning and Landscape Architecture student at UW-Madison, completed her senior capstone project on the City of Stoughton’s East Main St Rail Corridor in May of 2023. Her report explored potential redevelopment sites, proposed improvement concepts to enhance connectivity to downtown, and addressed safety concerns. The project's goals were to showcase the area's unique culture and history, create new mixed-use spaces to support growth, enhance local and regional connectivity, and increase public space.
